This page explains how to delete your STEPOFF account and the data tied to it: how to ask, what gets erased, and what is kept.
Delete it inside the app (fastest)
- Open STEPOFF.
- Tap YOU, then the Settings gear.
- Scroll to THE EXIT and tap Delete account ("Tear up the file").
- Confirm. Your account and its server-side data are erased immediately.
Or ask us to delete it
Prefer we handle it? Email stepoff@funmisport.com with the display name on your account and a note asking us to delete it. We erase the account and all associated data within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, from STEPOFF's servers:
- Your profile — display name, avatar mark, and any profile photo you uploaded.
- Your win/loss record and any fight history held server-side.
- Your friends, callouts, and any crew membership.
- Your device's push-notification token.
- Your account identifier and its link to your Google sign-in, if you used one.
Data stored only on your phone (local fight history and settings) is removed when you uninstall the app.
What is kept
Nothing tied to your identity is retained after deletion. Anonymised crash and diagnostic logs — which never contain your step history — may persist for a short time under Google Firebase's standard retention and cannot be linked back to a deleted account.
